Bonjour / Greetings,

My name is  Amin Etemad-Rezai. Here is a brief bio:

Born in the UK, raised in Iran, the former West Germany, the province of Québec and now the in the midwest of the United States, I must say that my multicultural background has become the highlight of my life.

My journey so far has resembled a global route drawn by Marco Polo.  I have to thank the 1979 Iranian revolution for that… 

 

My professional health care experience was largely gained working for non-profit governmental institutions, a leading teaching level one trauma center, Minnesota’s prime health insurer and medical group provider as well as one of the global icons in medical devices. Listed below are the companies where I was fortunate to gain experience:

I created Patients Crossing Oceans™ in March 2010. PCO  occupies a very large place in my heart and in my life. I do my best to update the site regularly and to keep you informed. In October 2011, I started to post articles in French. Since PCO’s debut, this was something that I had planned to do and it is finally here. I hope you like it!

Career

In 1999, Amin accepted a position in payroll account services working for Automated Data Processing (ADP). He worked in the Small Business Solution division.   

In 2004, Amin was hired as a Management Consultant by Hemisphere Restaurant Partners through NAFTA’s Canada-US treaty. HRG is a private commercial investment company based in Minneapolis, MN with annual sales exceeding $8.5M.  

In 2007, Amin was hired as a financial Analyst at Hennepin County Medical Center. He represented HCMC as a benchmarking administrator and member of the University Health System Consortium (UHC), an alliance of 104 academic medical centers and 220 of affiliated hospitals representing 90% of the nation’s non-profit academic medical centers.   

In 2009, Amin accepted a position working in Corporate Sales Operations at Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, MN. He supported the interventional cardiology and peripheral interventional sales teams based in greater New England, NY, NJ and CT.

Amin is currently a Sr. operations consultant at Health Partners Associates Inc. where he recognizes, processes and implements opportunity for improvement projects for his department and across the organization. 

Passion:

My LLC is based in Minneapolis, MN and it owns an internet media company and the exclusive rights to Patients Crossing Oceans™.
